I have been thinking about offering styled baby and child sessions for a while. I love images that go beyond the ordinary and capture kids in a magical way.
Themed session set in a beautiful location that focuses on child’s true personality and charm. In this case it was summer wildflowers, but it could be vintage airplanes, princess tea part, watermelon, vintage ship, fall/apple theme….really anything. In order to create a scene and give the child focus or a prop to play with. It goes beyond a prefect portrait, where you would want the baby to smile and look strait at the camera. It aims to capture child’s different expressions and temperament. Be it smiling, crying, curious, happy or shy. The outdoors provide excellent place for the baby or child to run around freely and be himself/herself.
I could not pass on this wildflower filed. This little guy loved smelling and picking the flowers. Since I love vintage styled sessions, I adore his hats and suspenders.
Child styled session could be incorporated into a family session or be a mini session on its own, please inquire for more details.
