I just love being maternity photographer – such a magical time to capture. Pregnancy is such an exciting part of life, not only for parents but also for older siblings waiting for their little baby brother or sister to arrive. Look at the many expressions we got from the big sister – too cute for words! How exciting it will be for her to finally meet her baby sister soon, to play with her, to hold her, and to help mommy with all the little tasks…what a wonderful time in the life of the family. Sometimes toddlers need a little time to warm up to the camera, but given time, patience and bribes if necessary, their true personality come out, and I am here to catch it, and freeze the moment forever. Mom looked and dressed gorgeous for the session.
Weather allowing, all my maternity and family photo-shoots take place at different outdoor locations Northern Virginia has to offer. This one was one of them – an open filed full of wildflowers and beautiful, soft back light. This family drove all the way from Arlington VA, to meet me here – but it was worth the drive! Here is a sneak peak!
