Family Photographer in Northern VA – Surrounded by Flowers

When is the best time to capture your baby?  I recommend following your baby milestones; sitting, first birthday and walking.    I love, love, love the sitting stage – usually between 6-8 month, as soon as the baby can sit with no support. At this age they are babies as their best – chubby, curious, with adorable expressions and natural smiles – if weather permits, I love taking ‘diaper only’ shots at this stage to show off all the baby rolls.   First birthday is another great opportunity to capture, one year olds are more active, many of them can walk or at least stand with support – balloons or an outdoor cake smash can be incorporated into the session for the great 1st birthday portrait.  The next stage, is the walker – recommended anytime from when they take those first steps up to their second birthday – its fun to capture the energy, innocence and silliness of the stage – before they outgrow their big baby age and turn into little kids.  Celebrate your family with a professional photoshoot.    Contact me for more details.

We were surrounded by flowers during this family photo session in beautiful Northern VA.  Not only were the yellow wildflowers in bloom, but the community garden was full of beautiful flowers, and we enjoyed exploring it throughout the session.  But the brightest bloom of all, where the two beautiful kiddos – don’t you agree?  I photographed them both as newborns, and I truly enjoyed seeing this family again.  Getting to know their kids’ little personalities and chasing after them with my camera.
